Lately, I have been craving cookies so much!<br />
Yesterday night I decided to freeze the rest of my blueberries sauce because I felt that this could be usefull....And I was right!<br />
<br />
Here is my recipe:<br />

What you need: for approx 4 cookies<br />
<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>1/2 cup yogurt ( soy,greek..)</li>
<li>1/3 cup fresh or frozen blueberries </li>
<li>2 cups mixed organic dates ( I actually bought in an organic store already mixed, so here take the stones away and mix in a blender or with a hand mixer)</li>
<li>4 pecans</li>

<li>Mix all the blueberries and 1/3 cup yogurt in a blender or with a hand mixer and separate the blueberries sauce in 4 muffins tins ( just fill 1/4 of each with the sauce ).Choose muffins tins where you can easily turn your sauce out. Freeze overnight.</li>
<li>Considering your sauce is frozen,turn the little frozen "bottom muffins" out on a plate </li>
<li>Cut the date paste in 8 little and thin rounds ( same size than your frozen blueberries "bottom muffins "sauce) </li>
<li>Place 1 date round then one of the frozen blueberries sauce over, a date round again</li>
<li>Use the rest of the yogurt (1/4 cup for the 4 cookies ) to putt on top of the cookies</li>
<li>Add 1 pecan in each</li>

How To:<br />

<li>In a bowl,putt the oat bran,the egg whites and the milk and mix well with a fork</li>
<li>putt the mixture in a tin or in a tupperware of the shape you want for your cake, and microwave it for 2 mins at max intensity,then leave it cool down on the side</li>
<li>in a blender mix tthe blueberries and 3/4 of the yogurt</li>
<li>in a water-bath ( double boiler) putt the Quest Bar to make it soft ( don't let it melt!!) and then roll it in your palms and give it a "toast shape" </li>
<li>cutt your cake in two pieces and on the bottom piece putt the rest of the yogurt and almost all of the blueberries sauce inside like a sandwich</li>
<li>putt the top side of the sandwich on the bottom one and add the Quest bar on top</li>
<li>use the rest of the blueberries sauce around your cake like you want </li>
<li>cutt the banana in pieces and place them around your cake too with the almonds on top of them,keep one for the top of your cake ;)</li>
<li>sprinkle with the shredded coconut!</li>

I love to make healthy cakes and just trhow everything I like in a big bowl,mix and heat in the oven.....It is this easy...<br />

WHAT YOU NEED:<br />

<li>2 whole eggs</li>
<li>2 scoops and a half of vanilla whey protein powder, I used one from "Optimum Nutrition "</li>
<li>3 scoops organic corn flour</li>
<li> 1/2 Tbsp baking powder</li>
<li>1 banana cutted in smalls round pieces</li>
<li>1 organic 70% cocoa dark chocolate bar (you can use less or more,it's just for the "marbré" effect but I feel that 1 bar is good)</li>
<li>3 tsp organic peanut butter</li>
<li>3 scoops soy milk</li>
<li>a few cashews to decorate the top</li>
<li>1 cup organic applesauce (little less)</li>

HOW TO:<br />
<br />
<ol>
<li>Hit the whole chocolate bar in water-bath until it melts completetely </li>
<li>preheat your oven at max intensity ( 200 °c) for 20 mins</li>
<li>in a big bowl,break the 6 eggs and only keep 2 yolks</li>
<li>add the milk</li>
<li>add the flour</li>
<li>add the protein</li>
<li>add the baking powder</li>
<li>mix well with a fork</li>
<li>add the peanut butter</li>
<li>add the applesauce</li>
<li>mix well with the fork</li>
<li>in a cake pan,pour 1/3 of the mixture </li>
<li>pour some melted chocolate in the same cake pan </li>
<li>do the same a couple of time : mixture then chocolate....</li>
<li>add the cashews on top</li>
<li>cook in the oven at max intensity for 30 minutes and check at 20 minutes how he is doing.....I guess all the oven don't have same intensity....</li>

-one thing about the chocolate bar: i chose 70% cocoa but you can take whichever you want... I just don't consider dark chocolate healthy under 70% cocoa....This is me,you can take milk chocolate,white chocolate or under 70 % cocoa,I am sure they will be delicious but it isn't just healthy in my oponion...as a cheat meal yes for sure but already 70% cocoa isn't very hight and 80 or 90% would be very good too and more healthy....I just tried to make my cake eatable for my family ( my mom wouldn't eat it over 70% cocoa),also,I have fat to loose so i would have used higher pourcentage if it was just for me because le more your bar has cocoa the less the bar will have butter,sugar or oils in it....so the better it is when you try to loose!If you are on a kind of steady place with your physique and that you aren't trying to loose fat you don't really have to have more than 70% cocoa in your bar....<br />

-I used " scoops " in my mesures it actually is the scoop you get in the protein powder box, mine was 30 grammes.I really like to use it as a mesure tool because it's "international" ( yes we rarelly use "cups" in France!!) =) and if you don't have It's 30 grammes as I said! But Logically if you do this recipe you have protein powder so you have a scoop! =) Also,it's very simple to mesure and it's less dishes to wash at the end!<br />

Enjoy it with natural peanut butter,almond butter,yogurt,honey on it....bring a piece on the go in a bag,microwave it with a QuestBar on it...etc.....Whatever you want!!!<br />
It's great for pre or post workout too!!!!<br />

<li>1 banana ( optional,I didn't use it but if you want some carbs it would be a good source to put in the flan)</li>

<li>add the banana if you choose to have one...</li>
<li>pour the mix into a cake pan</li>
<li>put it into the oven for 20 minutes at max intensity ( check it with a knife,put the knife in the cake to see if it's not liquid anymore....)</li>
<li>when it's ready,let it cool down and put in the fridge for about an hour </li>
<li>add some Peanut butter or almond butter on it or not ;) any way enjoy it!!! </li>

Helowww food lovers,I have for you today a very easy recipe with eggs as the main ingredient.....<br />
Eggs are a great protein source and they aren't expensive....I recommend organics or free-range eggs for the quality and the taste but you know sometime the budget is tiny so I won't lie to you,even if I love organic food,I can't afford to buy everything organic all the time.....<br />
Something else you need to know about eggs is that there is cholesterol in the yolk....I love the yolk but I don't eat more than 3 or 4 a week,sometimes less....So what do I do with the yolk?I keep some to make me natural hair mask ( with olive oil and lemon juice) but I throw all the rest away....and I eat around 20 to 25 egg whites a week....yes you have heard me right:20 to 25 (!) a week....So It makes 20 yolks to the garbage...I hate to waste food and this is also why I buy the cheaper eggs....<br />

Bonjour les amoureux de la nourriture !J'ai pour vous aujourd'hui une recette très simple avec les oeufs comme ingrédients principal....Les oeufs sont une très bonne source de protéine et ils ne coûtent pas cher....Je recommande les oeufs biologiques ou élevés en pleins air mais je sais que des fois nôtre budget est plutôt serré,alors je ne vais pas vous mentir,même si je préfère les produits biologiques,pour la qualité et pour le goût,je n'achètes pas que du bio tout le temps....</div>

Autre chose que vous devez savoir sur les oeufs et que les jaunes contiennent du cholestérol et qu'il vaut mieux donc ne pas trop en manger....J'adore pourtant les jaunes d'oeufs mais je n'en mange pas plue de 3 à 4 par semaine,des fois moins.....Alors qu'est ce qu'on fait du jaune?Et bien j'en utilise certains pour me faire des masques capillaires naturels ( avec de l'huile d'olive et du jus de citron) et je jette les autres...Je déteste jeter mais comme il se trouve que je mange 20 à 25 blancs d'oeuf, oui vous avez bien lu,20 à 25 blancs d'oeuf (!) je n'ai pas d'autres utilisation pour les jaunes...c'est aussi pour cela que je n'ai pas de regret d'acheter mes oeufs au 1er prix:car je jete les jaunes d'oeufs....</div>

<li>6 blancs d'oeuf</li>
<li>2 tranches de jambon</li>
<li>1 poignée d'onions vert coupé en rondelle</li>

<li>1/2 cuillère à café de tabasco ( optionnelle)</li>

Today I want to share with you my spinach protein pancake.....Spinach may sounds weird in a pancake but I swear,it is very good!<br />
<br />
So the recipe is actually the same than the "regular" pancake but we just add a cup of fresh spinach...<br />
<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>1 scoop Perfect Fit Protein</li>
<li>2 egg whites</li>
<li>1/2 teaspoon cinnamon</li>
<li>1 teaspoon flaxseeds</li>
<li>1tablespoon almond milk </li>
<li>1 cup fresh spinach</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>mix the spinach with 1/2 tablespoon almond milk in a blender </li>
<li>mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl with a fork and add the spinach already mixed in the bowl,mix again all the ingredients together with a fork</li>
<li>putt just a little bit of the mixture in a non-stick pan (you want to make 3 pancakes)</li>
<li>let it heat for 2 minutes and turn it over delicately and let it heat again for 2 minutes (until cooked) putt the pancake on the side and do the same thing 2 other times in order to make 2 other pancakes.</li>

Now you have your 3 pancakes,it's time to make the frosting.....here is what you need:<br />

<li>1 natural soy yogurt ( you can use greek yogurt, there is just not in France this is why I use soy yogurt...)</li>
<li>1/2 tablespoon natural peanut butter</li>
<li>1/2 tablespoon natural honey</li>
<li>1 teaspoon flaxseeds</li>
<li>1 tablespoon dried raisins</li>
<li>1/2 tablespoon natural almond butter </li>
<li>2 pistachios </li>

<li>mix the banana,the yogurt and the peanut butter in a blender just enough to make the banana mashed....</li>
<li>add a bit on top of 1 pancake,putt an other pancake on the first one,add some frosting,putt the last pancake on it and putt the rest of the frosting on top of the 3 pancakes....</li>
<li>add the honey on top ,then the flaxseeds and the raisins</li>
<li>finally,add on top in the middle the almond butter and the 2 pistachios...</li>

Le pancake protéiné aux épinards est la même recette que le pancake nature sauf qu'il faut ajouter 1 poignée d'épinard frais!Les épinard peuvent paraître être un ingrédient étrange pour des pancakes mais je vous assure c'est très bon! Voici la recette:</div>

Everybody has different recipes but here is one:<br />

<li>1 scoop Perfect Fit Protein</li>
<li>2 egg whites</li>
<li>1/2 teaspoon cinnamon</li>
<li>1 teaspoon flaxseeds</li>
<li>1teaspoon almond milk </li>
<li>1/4 cup blueberries or 1/2 mashed banana ( optional )</li>

<li>Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with a fork and putt your mixture in an non-stick pan</li>
<li>let it heat for 2 minutes and turn it over delicately ! </li>
<li>then add what you want on it ! I love natural peanut butter,honey,almond butter,agave syrup or even salty things like ham,avocado.....you choose!</li>

I tried this recipe with whey protein and it didn't turned out like pancake but more like scrambled or "pitta bread"! Wasn't bad at all,but just not pancakes! ;)<br />
I love protein pancake because if you don't add fruits in the mixture,it's carbohydrate free and only protein and good fat from the flaxseeds! I usually have it after my workout because there is the protein powder....but it's also great if I am on the go or as a dessert !<br />

J'ai aussi essayé cette recette avec de la "whey "protéine mais le résultat tournait plus en oeufs brouillés,ou en pain "pitta"! Le résultat est aussi bon mais ce n'est pas des pancakes!</div>

Ce que j'aime beaucoup de cette recette est que sans les fruits dans la mixture,le pancake est alors sans sucres lents et que des protéines et du bon gras grâce aux graines de lin! Je prend normalement les pancake protéinés après mon entrainement car il y a la protéine en poudre mais ils peuvent être très bien si je suis hors de chez moi ou comme un dessert! </div>

I thought it was a good subject to start with: why eating clean?<br />
I grow up in a family were junk food wasn't really present....Of course we would have a Mc donald dinner every now and then but it was very rare....I got lucky my parents believed in eating clean and practising sports....But, don't get me wrong,we were eating cakes and creamy meals but it was just HOME MADE not INDUSTRIAL !<br />

When I was 16 years old,I went to Santa Barbara,California to live by myself and completely fell into the junk food addiction.....Maybe because I didn't have my parents to give me limits? I don't know but I felt like crap because my body wasn't healthy anymore.....Then I changed my habits,fortunately and found this "clean "feeling back...<br />
What I want to say is that there is a huge difference of how you feel when your body is fuel with industrial food or with natural food.....I promess, you feel lighter, healthier,more energized,happier....etc.....<br />

Think that your body is your friend,he is not your enemy....so why feeding him with the wrong stuff?Why putting inside you something that won't make you feel good? Don't you want to be at your best?Physically and mentally...<br />
They say " you are what you eat"....this is very true....I know we are more "naturally" craving junk than a cup of broccolis but once you ate it then what? you are going to enjoy this fatty burger for 5 minutes THEN WHAT? Was it really worth it? Ask yourself.....5 minutes of pleasure or my health?And let me tell you clean eating can be VERY TASTY too.....Junk food is also poor in nutrition,it doesn't bring you the minerals,vitamins,proteins,good fat and good carbohydrates your body need to be healthy.....<br />
It's okay to have a cheat meal some time,life is too short to restrict ourselves all the time,If you are really dying for junk....but keep it as an exception...<br />
I am sure you have heard of the results of bad eating...diabetes,cholesterol,cancers, obesity,even depression.....Sugar is a drug.....I known people who used to eat refined (bad sugar) sugar all the time and once they tried to stop it they had the same reaction an alcohol or smoker addict would have...... they were shaking,completely depressed.....<br />

Eating healthy will only brings you good results.....you can't imagine how good if you didn't try....but trust me: it is TOTALLY WORTH IT......you won't regret !<br />

So forget about junk,no-sugar added,industrial stuff.....think that mother nature gave us great food, full of good stuff only here to make you feel GOOD....this is what your body is asking for.....<br />

"Pourquoi manger sainement ?"Il me semble que ceci est un bon sujet comme premier article.<br />
J'ai grandit dans une famille où les sucreries et autres n'étaient presque pas présent...Bien sur, nous allions au Mc donald de temps en temps mais c'était très rare....J'ai eu de la chance que mes parents savaient comment bien manger et faisaient beaucoup de sports.....Alors bien surs nous mangions des gâteaux et des plats en sauce, mais c'était FAIT MAISON,pas INDUSTRIEL !<br />
Lorsque j'avais 16 ans je suis allée vivre à Santa Barbara en Californie et je suis "tombé" dans la " malbouffe"...Peut être parce que mes parents n'étaient pas là pour me mettre des limites? Je ne sais pas mais je me sentais vraiment mal physiquement car je nourrissais mon corps seulement de mauvaises choses....Heureusement, j'ai vite repris de bonnes habitudes alimentaire.....Ce que je veux dire par ceci est qu'il y a une énorme différence de sensations entre manger des produits industriels et manger des produits naturels.....Je vous promets que bien manger vous fait sentir plus léger,plus heureux,plus sains, bien plus énergique....etc....<br />

Penser que vôtre corps est vôtre amis pas vôtre ennemi....Alors pourquoi le nourrire avec les mauvais produits?Pourquoi mettre dans vôtre corps quelque chose de mauvais pour vous?Ne voulez vous pas être à vôtre meilleure forme,autant physique que mentale?<br />
L'expression " tu es ce que tu manges" est bien vraie....Je sais que nous sommes plus "naturellement" attirés par un repas gras,industriel que par une assiette de brocolis, mais une fois que vous avez mangé ce burger bien gras,qu'y a t'il? Vous allez apprécier ce burger pendant 5 minutes et après???Cela valait-il le coup?Demandez-vous.....5 minutes de plaisir contre ma bonne santé? Et croyez-moi, manger sainement peut être TRES GOUTEUX.....<br />
La nourriture industrielle est aussi très pauvre en vitamines,minéraux,protéines,bon gras et bon sucres....Elle ne vous apporte pas le nécessaire dont vôtre corps à besoin....Elle est "pauvre " nutritionnellement parlant.......Ca n'est pas un problème d'avoir,de temps en temps, un repas ou on mange un burger,des frites ou une pizza (etc...) si on en a vraiment envie,la vie est trop courte pour se restreindre tout le temps mais garder cela comme une exception...<br />
Je suis sure que vous avez entendu parler des problèmes qu'apportent les produits industriels : obésité,cholestérol,diabète,cancers,dépression,mortalité....le sucre est une drogue.....je connais des personnes qui étaient addict au sucre raffiné ( mauvais sucre )et lorsqu'elles ont arrêtées d'en manger en grande quantité elles ont eu les mêmes symptômes qu'une personne addict à l'alcool ou à la cigarettes....elles tremblaient,étaient complètement dépressives....<br />

Manger sainement ne peut que vous apporter des bonnes choses...Vous ne pouvez pas imaginer si vous n'avez pas essayé....mais croyez-moi....CELA VAUT VRAIMENT LE COUP...vous ne regretterez pas!<br />

Alors oubliez les produits industriels,sans sucre ajoutés...etc....Pensez que mère nature nous a donné des très bons produits remplis de bonnes choses qui ne vous feront que du BIEN...c'est ce que vôtre corps demande....<br />
